Congrats to one of our third graders Austin Stutler!!!! See letter below:
Good morning Mr “D”.
Over the past few weeks, Austin has been competing in the National Rabbit Royalty and Educational Contests. The national convention was to be held in Harrisburg, but due to COVID 19 and RHD (a rabbit viral disease) it was cancelled and moved to a virtual platform. Last year, Austin traveled to Reno NV and competed and was runner up for National Rabbit Lord. His rabbit also won Reserve Best of Breed.
The royalty contest involves completion of an application, identifying 25 breeds and colors of rabbits, a skill a thon, interview and extensive test. He also competed in a team breed identifying contest.
The virtual banquet was held last night and proud to announce the following: his rabbit won Reserve of Breed His team was National Winner for Breed identification for their age category.
He won the title of 2020 National Rabbit Lord!!! This is in addition to his current PA Rabbit Lord title!
So please excuse his tired behavior, he was up a bit later than normal celebrating.
AND just received an email this morning that was also selected as a 2020-2021 Ambassador for Bucks County 4-H Program.
It has been an amazing journey for us and are super appreciative of the flexibility and support SMA has given Austin. Academics are the first priority for Austin!
Thanks again for all of the support the SMA family has shown him
