Dear Parents/Guardians,
When adverse weather conditions warrant, the Parochial and Public Schools may have to close early. Neither the Pastor nor the Principal of Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic School makes this decision. We, like you, must listen to the local media outlets for the announcement. SMA School follows Bristol Township decisions.
Please check major media for the announced closing time. Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Schoolwill close at that announced time. If the announced closing time occurs during the Lunch Period, students who normally go home for lunch will be asked to stay home. SMA School signed up for School Messenger. This means a phone call and/or email message will be sent to notify you of any dismissal time changes. Parents/Guardians should not pick up students before the announced closing time. This helps prevent further disruptions for the children. Do not call the school or rectory.Please check our web site (www.sma-pa.org) and the NEWS/ Special Announcement page for details. Please note: In the event of early dismissal CARES will be cancelled. Every child should be aware of what he/she should do in the event of an emergency early school closing.
