I hope you are doing well in these uncertain times. You have been on our hearts and minds as you and your teams have made difficult decisions over this past week.
As we globally try to combat the spread of COVID-19, we know that schools and children are impacted in different ways. We want to acknowledge that it is a stressful time and that there are many disruptions to routines impacting everyone. As we think about the five-competencies of Social Emotional Learning (self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision making, social awareness, and relationship skills) and what we are facing now as a country and in the world, these skills are vital. It is an opportunity for children and parents to come together and work through this difficult time.
Over the weeks to come you will be receiving resources from us that will help you stay connected with the students and families you serve and provide them with helpful tools. Please share with principals, teachers, parents, and anyone you think may benefit.
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Heb 10:23
