SMA School will be a STREAM: Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, & Math School 2019/2020 STREAM is an extension of STEM. It is an acronym for Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Math. (As a faith based Catholic School Religion is taught throughout the curriculum and across all subjects!) Our teachers begin in servicing this April! • What is STEM Education? What is STEM Education? STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics — in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Rather than teach the four disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, STEM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications. • Awesome News! New STEM Pilot Program coming to St Mike's!! Awesome News! I just received a phone call from Sister Edwards (Head of Curriculum for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia). She informed me we are picked to be part of a new AOP STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Math) Pilot Program. Teacher training, flexible scheduling, etc.. Only two Catholic schools in Bucks County will have it. and St Mike's will be one of them! God's light, Mr. "D".
