Supply List
Most of the materials needed in the art class will be provided via the art fee.
ART FEE: $10 per student in grades Kindergarten through 8.
In order to provide a lively and well stocked Art Room, a fee of $10.00 is requested for each student. Think of the fee as one dollar per month. For families that have more than three students enrolled, the fee shall not exceed $35.00.
The fee should be paid in cash, enclosed in an envelope with “Art Fee” on the front. Inside the envelope, please include :- the family name
- the number of children
- their name(s) and grade(s).
I keep a record of payments and expenditures.The envelopes may be turned-in to the homeroom teacher or directly to Mrs. Havrilla within the first month of school.
How was the Art fee be spent last year?- Purchased new Art Information posters for the classroom
- Purchased a large paper drying rack
- Updated an in-classroom basic first aid kit.
- Purchased new classroom packs of watercolor markers (both thick and thin-line)
- Extra oil pastels
- Purchased new "chromacrylic" paint. "Chromacrylic" is a mix of poster and acrylic paint.
- New paint brushes
- 50 Lbs of clay with sponges, tools, and liquid glaze.
- Purchased specific craft items from the Dollar Store; Michaels; Hobby Lobby, Home Depot, etc.
- Purchased fine art posters for curriculum use.
- Etc.
